Do you take insurance?

CO-OP PHYSIO provides Cash-Based (Out of Network) physical therapy services

What It Means: Cash-based physical therapy means that you pay for services directly at the time of your appointment rather than going through insurance. Out-of-network physical therapy refers to services provided by a therapist who does not have a contract with your insurance company.

Benefits:

  1. Personalized Care: Without insurance constraints, we can focus on your individual needs and spend more time with you during each session.
  2. Flexible Scheduling: You may have more flexibility in scheduling appointments that work best for you.
  3. No Insurance Hassles: You won’t have to deal with insurance approvals, denials, or limitations on treatment frequency or duration.

Payment: Payment is made at the time of service, which may be through cash, credit, or debit. We can provide you with a receipt/superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan.  An initial visit/new patient visit is $175.  Follow up visits are $150

Can I use my FSA or HSA?  Absolutely

Final Thoughts: Our goal is to provide you with the best possible care tailored to your needs without insurance dictating your care allowing you to meet your goals efficiently.

Note:  Due to Medicare restrictions, we are unable to provide physical therapy services to those under Medicare at this time.  If you are under Medicare and are interested in a wellness program, please email mhutton@coop-physio.com to discuss your options.

Are there exercises I can do at home?

Yes! Your therapist will provide you with specific exercises and activity recommendations to do at home as this is an imperative part of your treatment.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies based on your condition and treatment goals, but on average patients are seen for 6-10 sessions over a two to three month time period. Your therapist will discuss a recommended treatment plan during your initial visit.

What happens if I miss a session?

If you miss a session, please notify us as soon as possible. We can help you reschedule, but missed appointments affect your progress and you may incur a cancellation fee.

Can I bring my child?

Yes, you may bring your child, but be aware that we do not provide childcare during your session so your child will need to stay with you during your treatment.

I just had a baby, when should I come to physical therapy?

You are welcome to start physical therapy as soon as you would like, however, internal assessments and treatment do not occur until 6 weeks post partum.

I am on my period, can I still come to my pelvic health visit?
